Improved GPS Reception

Stratos integrated GPS provides excellent reception in many types of aircraft, as well as during freefall and canopy flight.

GPS Tools

Set coordinates for HARP & DIP using either MGRS or Lat/Lon formats. The Stratos will provide navigation feedback in the aircraft and under canopy.

Future Development

The Stratos evolves with feedback from real world users.  We never settle for “good enough”.

Long Battery Life

USB-C rechargeable and long battery life make the Stratos easy to use for training and operations.

Wireless Connect

The Stratos can connect wirelessly to HUD glasses, phone apps, and the Soundlink audbile.  Connectivity is disabled by default and when not actively in use to ensure security.

ATAK External GPS Source

Wirelessly send GPS coordinates and speeds to ATAK.

Features Overview

Full Stratos operating instructions and all features are found in our knowledge base.

Product specifications are found here.

Offsets

The Stratos supports two offset modes for jumping into an off-site area:  altitude and pressure.  Altitude offsets can be entered in feet or meters , and the DIP air pressure setting is entered in millibars.

COLD TEMPERATURE USE

For those frosty HAHO jumps, we’ve tested the Stratos as low as -45 degrees.  The altimeter continues to operate for at least 30 minutes at temperatures below -20C.  Contact us for options if you need your altimeters to sustain lower temperatures for long durations.

Water Resistant

Water resistance is tested at 1 meter for 30 minutes.  Water jumps are a go, just don’t take it SCUBA.

USB-C AND FAST CHARGING

The integrated USB-C port charges the Stratos.  A full charge from 0% battery takes approximately 1.5 hours.  However a charge of as little as 20 minutes can last an entire day of freefall training operations.
